Big Updates

MELBOURNE January 12th - I finally made the move to Melbourne Never thought I'd have moved out of home at eighteen, but there you go. I'm having to do all those adult things you'd never even think about living with the 'rents.

Photography I've started a photography course at RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology). Learning a lot every day, and loving it very much. It's damned hard work but it's rewarding, and so purposeful. Psychology, French, Japanese etc were fun, but I've never felt this much direction before. Every second of every day I know I'm moving towards achieving exactly what I want in life. Exhilarating is about the appropriate adjective, cliched though it may be.

Equipment Aside from now shooting/editing in RAW, and moving to Adobe 1998 instead of sRGB.... I now have a 40d, with a 24-70mm L series lens on the way, Manfrotto 190XProb tripod, Sekonic lightmeter, reflector, etc etc. My shoulders KILL from all the extra weight. And my bank account has been positively bombed. But what else could be more satisfying to purchase?

Hair News Haha. I now have the beginnings of a mane of hair. It's incredibly long, considering it was all chopped off not too ago. I now look enviously at girls with short hair. You always want what you don't have. I intend to grow it out as long as I can. And then maybe I'll chop it all off again

I just deleted something like 878 messages and over a thousand notices. I can't answer them all, so if you did have something you really wanted to ask or say please send it again. I promise to make an effort to check here more often.

Thank you all for encouraging me thus far, and I am especially grateful to those of you who have stuck around from my very raw beginnings and lonnngggg absences since. Couldn't have kept going without you.
